Q. How do I apply for EasyPay Xpress MetroCard?
A. To apply for an EasyPay Xpress MetroCard just click here. Once you have applied your EasyPayXpress MetroCard will be mailed to you within a few weeks.

Q. How does the program work?
A. EasyPay Xpress allows you to pay for your rides automatically with a credit card. Once you sign-up, your MetroCard is refilled without ever leaving your hands.

Q. How much does it cost to open an account?
A. An EasyPay Xpress account is opened with $40. You will receive a 15% bonus, so your account starts out with $46. You also receive a 15% bonus every time you add $7 or more to your account.

Q. Can I use EasyPay Xpress to pay for local bus, express bus and subway fares?
A. Yes. EasyPay Xpress can be used for local bus,express bus and subway fares.

Q. How do I make payments?
A. You must use a credit card to add money to your account. Whenever your EasyPay Xpress balance goes below $30, your credit card will be used to replenish your account. If your credit card declines the charge, a late notice will be sent to you.

Q. Can I use my tax-free transportation benefits card?
A. Yes, you can use your tax-free transportation benefits card. For further information call 1-877-323-RIDE (7433).

Q. What happens if I am late with a payment?
A. If your payment is not received, a late notice will be sent to you. If payment is not received before a zero balance, your account will be closed. You can arrange for a one-time payment by calling 1-877-323-RIDE (7433) or online at www.easypaymetrocard.com .

Q. Will I receive a statement for my EasyPay Xpress account?
A. At enrollment on the EasyPay website you can select to receive a statement monthly, bimonthly or none at all. When your statement frequency is bimonthly, you will receive a monthly statement for the first four months and then bimonthly thereafter. If there are no transactions and no financial activity in your account during the applicable period, you will not receive a statement. You can change the frequency at any time by calling the EasyPay Account Service Center at 1-877-323-RIDE (7433) or online at www.easypaymetrocard.com.

Q. What if I don’t agree with a fare charged to my account?
A. You must promptly call the EasyPay Account Service Center at 1-877-323-RIDE (7433). Charges not questioned within 90 days of the fare posting will be deemed valid.

Q. Can I close my EasyPay Xpress account?
A. You may close an EasyPay Xpress account at any time. We will refund you any remaining balance on your account.

Q. Can I refill my EasyPay Xpress MetroCard at a station booth or MetroCard Vending Machine?
A. No. EasyPay Xpress MetroCard is automatically refilled with the credit card you provided. Attempts to refill your EasyPay Xpress MetroCard will damage the MetroCard.

Q. What should I do if I change my address?
A. Your EasyPay Xpress MetroCard and notices are sent to the address you provide. You must inform us promptly of any change of address by calling the EasyPay Account Service Center at 1-877-323-RIDE (7433).

Q. What should I do if my EasyPay Xpress MetroCard does not work?
A. When an EasyPay Xpress account is not in good financial standing, the EasyPay Xpress MetroCard will not work. Therefore, first make sure your EasyPay Xpress account has money in it. If you believe your card is damaged, mail it to MetroCard Customer Claims, 2 Broadway, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10004.

Q. What if my EasyPay Xpress MetroCard is lost or stolen?
A. You must call the EasyPay Account Service Center at 1-877-323-RIDE (7433) immediately. We will deactivate your card to protect you from unauthorized charges. We will also send you a replacement card in the mail.

Q. Can I access my account information, change my PIN or update my financial information via the Internet or touch-tone phone?
A. Yes, you’ve got access at your fingertips, 24 hours a day over the Internet or touch–tone phone. You may visit us at www.easypaymetrocard.com or with a touch-tone phone call 1-877-323-RIDE (7433). You will need to use your account number and PIN. A PIN is automatically assigned to you when you open your account.

A. For assistance with your account you may call or write to EasyPay Account Service Center. All correspondence should include your EasyPay MetroCard account number, current mailing address and daytime telephone.
